Have you ever had those days where you crave a cookie or those chewy sweet bites but the oven is down?
What do you do then?

I act over-smart! Yes!
I make a cookie dough quick & simple and cooked them on my non-stick pan or iron skillet.
How cool is that?

Its so easy and fast that it may beat the Easiest Cake in the world with Milk frosting anyday!

But the bites are so subtly sweet & yum that you will never believe its NOT BAKED! Its cooked on a pan!

These goes perfectly with tea or Homemade esspresso coffee or just as a regular snack now & then. I served these on a plate on top of crumbled kitchen towel, generous sprinkling of sugar and dry fruits & ginger green tea.

I will be making a dough very similar to one of the easiest biscuit/cookie dough ever. I guess pretty much anyone who has ever thought of making a cookie,has come across the Simple cookie dough recipe by Martha Stewart. Just a few tips & tricks that help is added by me at last (a result of very many failures at making tea cakes in many ways!) Scroll down to know more.

This easy breezy recipe needs the basic few ingredients we mostly find in our kitchen, just about 15 minutes or less to prep, another 5-10 minutes to cook. All you need is a mixing bowl, a spoon or whisk and a pan/skillet or even a flat bottomed wok.

Happy friendship day to one & all!

I fall in that group which believes everyday should be friendship day..and I am blessed with beautiful friends in my life.
I have this urge to ramble about my friends & name each one of them here…But I will stop myself now!Instead to make this day special for one & all. I made a simple cake with whatever I had in store & fridge, which I admit wasn’t impressive at all. How often do you have one of these days?

Vanilla Pudding in a Mug in less than 5 minutes (Easy Microwave oven Recipe)

Sadly some of you had the hard way round. It may get a little too egg-y or too runny the first time,if you go wrong with measurements. I SUGGEST you do a trial batch..try to estimate ingredients to your taste.

My second dessert recipe is here! Firstly, thank you for appreciating my first ever dessert recipe. I am so glad some of you tried the Indian Classic and loved it 🙂

This time I had a story that triggered me to try this new quick fix to make a sweet dish. That too in a mug! Whoa! I know its been pretty popular on and off for obvious reasons but what I loved about it apart from the fact that its fast, easy is that its so fulfilling and can have endless variations.

I Got the basic hang of it from a food blog. I tried two variation – one is the basic vanilla pudding and one with coffee caramel. Sadly, my camera  went wacko and the first set of pictures disappeared mysteriously! 😦
